One mustn't forget:
- Some people are out to get you. There just aren't that many of them.
- People are worried about their own life. They aren't worried about you.

- The Moon landing was not faked. Some people think it was. These people are not serious people.
- Climate change is not something that is "happening" or "will happen"; climate change is something that already has happened, and something we will now have to pay for, forever.
- Tap water is usually safer than bottled water due to tighter regulations around the former as opposed to the latter.
- The Conservative Party only offers a solution for 1% of people. The rest of us will have to find somebody else.
- When something enters the atmosphere and produces an incandescent glow, this is not because of "friction" between the object and the air, but instead due to adiabatic compression of air beneath the object.
- There are some things worth getting excited about. Football is not one of those things.
- Though most historians agree that there was a real, historical Jesus, most agree that none of the Gospels were written during his lifetime, and most agree that he could not walk on water. There is very little that we can know about what he was up to.

- Even if we are able to get our electricity to be sourced purely from renewables, this does not change the fact that airplanes need fossil fuels (kerosene), as well as the fact that lorries used for long-distance transportation are not typically EVs.
- Washington, D.C. is the capital of the US, not New York City. The capital of New York is Albany, not New York City. The Capitol is a building in Washington, D.C., which is the capital.
- The GPT in ChatGPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer. Generative is self-explanatory: the model "generates" content. In technical terms, such a model has learned to produce samples from some distribution; here, it is a distribution over tokens, which typically correspond to sub-word units of language called morphemes; tokens can also correspond to punctuation. Pre-trained means that the model was fed a large amount of data for "general" training before being further trained on a specific task (i.e. presenting information or text in a conversational / agentic context). Transformer is the type of architecture used in most modern LLMs, and relies on a mechanism called "attention", which computes a sort of "score" between different vector representations of each token.
- Gestalt is the term used to describe the cumulative characteristics of a pizza oven which together provide the certain je ne sais quoi to pizza produced by said oven.
